Andrew Lane – Director
Andrew was a founding director of the practice in July 2008.
Andrew has been in public practice since 1986 and previously also held a directorship position in another mid-sized public practice which commenced in July 1991.
Andrew is an FCPA, a Chartered Tax Advisor and holds a Bachelor of Business Degree. He specialises in tax consultancy and business advisory.
Andrew has had considerable experience in public practice and non-executive director and company secretary roles for ASX listed companies. He has delivered advice to a wide range of businesses across a number of industries, including equipment hire, retail, property, building, wholesale, software start-ups, sporting and financial services.
He has spent many years advising to business in Asia and the UAE, with particular interest in China, Indonesia and Dubai.
Andrew is currently the chairman of an advisory board for a large private company and a non-executive director of an ASX listed company.
Matthew McLean – Director
Matthew was also a founding director of the practice in July 2008.
Matthew has been in pubic practice since 1996 and previously also held a directorship position in another mid-sized public practice which commenced in July 2003.
Matthew is a CPA and holds a Bachelor of Accountancy Degree from the University of South Australia and his experience covers a breadth of areas including income tax, business structuring and restructuring and capital gains tax, including the application of the small business concessions.
Matthew has considerable experience in business turnaround, cash flow optimisation and business and personal insolvency related matters.
Matthew is responsible for his diverse range of clients across a number of industries including transport & logistics, fresh produce retailing, building & construction, mining services, equipment hire, real estate and professional services including legal, medical and physiotherapy.
Away from work Matthew enjoys spending time with his young family and friends, playing golf, keeping fit and has a keen interest in most sports, particularly the Port Power in the AFL.
Mark McDonnell – Director
Mark joined the practice in 2012 and was appointed director in 2013.
Mark commenced his career in 1997, with most of his working life spent in practice providing taxation and business advice to private and family businesses together with four years in a specialist consulting capacity with a “Big 4” international accounting firm.
Mark is a Chartered Accountant who holds both a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Laws degree from UWA. He has a detailed understanding of the legal issues which impact businesses and their stakeholders. Mark’s client base is broad and includes businesses with a combination of local, national and international operations.
In his spare time Mark keeps busy trying to keep up with his family including two school aged boys, and enjoys most sports you can name as well as travelling, reading, “retro” music and getting down to the beach on weekends.
Daniel Bobridge – Director
Daniel joined the practice in 2012 and was appointed a director in July 2017.
Daniel is a Chartered Accountant who holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from UWA and a Masters of Applied Taxation providing him with a depth of knowledge in key taxation areas including trusts, capital gains and company tax.
He has spent his professional career specialising in taxation and business services assisting clients in various stages of tax and business, from small start-ups to multi-million dollar corporations across a range of industries.
Daniel’s practical approach to work ensures timely and effective solutions and resolutions wherever possible allowing his clients to focus on growing their business or to get on with life with the confidence that their tax affairs are in safe hands.
Daniel enjoys a coffee after a run or ride with friends, has an active involvement in the WA Marathon Club and enjoys watching and participating in a number of other sports.
